I really like both of the poems – the poets used simple and beautiful words to describe the beautiful season of winter. The snow falling around every where makes it looks like a white blanket. You don’t see these type beauties of nature if you were living in a South Asian country but the poet makes me feel like that I was enjoying the winter season along with them.

Wow! Good poems, I love these poems about winter. though there’s never been winter over here in India but you’ve made me feel like I have. I like the imagery and the voice in both poems. It brings the frost and the pureness of winter into ones mind. thanks.

I love how well both of these poems highlight the beauty and simple tranquility that winter and its snow can bring. Too often people focus solely on winter’s negative aspects: its cold, slippery, and windy tendencies. Personally, I’d rather search for the wonderment and sense of peace the season can bring.
This pair of poems would be great to share with young readers. They are fun and easy to grasp, and perfect for inspiring little poets. Few things go together better than poetry and the creativity of children!
